This presentation brings together five artists who approach the image through processes of reduction, fragmentation, and reconstruction. Working across painting and expanded media, they begin from recognizable elements, objects, bodies, or landscapes, but shift them out of their original context, allowing new meanings to emerge.

In this joint presentation, the works of Taisia Corbut and Mihaela Coandă propose two distinct ways of interrogating the image: one oriented inward, toward a withdrawal into the affective space of the self; the other outward, toward a visual rereading of modernist memory.
