BIO
Robert Andacs (Romania, 1994) is an emergent artist from Romania. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s studies at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, where he currently lives and works. Self-discovery through solitude, discipline and acceptance has been the focus of his latest work. He is a keen observer of his surroundings and a dedicated extoller of their lyricism. His subjects are quite diverse, mainly figurative, as he is looking into exploring possibilities of communicating his artistic preoccupations.
As an artist, his medium of choice has always been oil painting, but he continues to be fascinated by experiments in drawing and installation art, as long as he can work within other mediums that have particular expressive qualities which can provide a certain ease to his conveying of thoughts.
